Gordon Ramsay's Perfect Scrambled Eggs


  • 2 Eggs, large
  • 1/4 tsp Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 in Scallion, chopped


  1. First, heat your frying pan to medium.
  2. Then combine the eggs, milk, and seasoning and stir with a spoon until it looks just mixed.
  3. Next, drop the butter onto the pan and give it a second to melt.
  4. Once the butter is just melted, pour the eggs into the center of the pan.
  5. Continue stirring the eggs slowly with a wooden spoon, allowing them to cook evenly.
  6. Once the eggs finish cooking, immediately transfer them to a plate and garnish with the scallions.


Avoid using a fork or whisk to scramble the eggs. While the cooked is 165°F, avoid overcooking them by watching the level of shine they have. You’re looking for an eggshell level of matte.
